EKO’ 24 Rules and Regulations

Welcome to the Official Lagos/Nigeria EKO’24 Vacation Edition

All attendees will experience a 9day /8nights in the South/West Region of Nigeria; the clothing, food and culture from August 28th through September 6th, 2024. On this trip you will have a chance to participate in the culture, traditions, shopping, food, history and explore the arts scene in Nigeria. This is a trip of a lifetime!  The Team of YetAkin- EKO’24 is looking forward to hosting this journey for you.

Trip Destination – Nigeria!

The trip tour will take place predominantly in Lagos where the group will visit various parts of Lagos and its environs

Hotel Accommodations:

A 4 Star Hotel American Branded Hotel All pricing is based on double and or single occupancy. All EKO ’24 attendees are required to stay at the host hotel with the group. 2 of 5 (Hotels will be revealed by July 2024 with all itinerary

Hotel Features:

The hotel has a restaurant , pool. Free Wi-Fi. bars/ lounges, a 24-hour fitness center,

Room Amenities:

All rooms offer free Wi-Fi and free wired Internet, plus 24-hour room service and LED TVs with cable channels.


HOTEL DOES NOT ALLOW TRIPLE OCCUPANCY


Note: Rate is inclusive of full Breakfast, 5% Consumption Tax, 5% VAT and 10% service charges, WIFI.

Roommate Policy:

Participants have the option to choose a roommate or we pair you up with a Room mate.

Flight

Required Documents for Travel

PASSPORT : A valid Passport is necessary for travel.
VISA: Visa is required for entry into Nigeria for American passport holders and will be provided upon arrival for a fee.  Details will be provided by the team of EKO 24. 

Participants who may wish to obtain visas on their own MUST apply for their visas, make a in person appointment in Washington or New York not later than May 1st 2024  https://portal.immigration.gov.ng/pages/visaguidelines

VISA DEADLINE: 

FLIGHT: You will need your flight information prior to going to your visa appointment
TRAVEL INSURANCE: Everyone is REQUIRED to provide proof of travel insurance prior to departure. Please note your US insurance card is not acceptable as it does not include coverage for repatriation.
Please note your insurance should include the following coverage at minimum.
(1) Emergency medical insurance abroad for minimum of $25,000 USD (2) Emergency medical transportation for minimum of $100,00 USD
(3) Repatriation of your body should you perish

Payment Details

Our payment system is currently live! Payments are non refundable but transferable until June 1st, 2024.

Installment plan

Reoccurring payments are available. Our installment plan agreement is based over four payments (single occupancy). There is a $50 fee for installment plan and an installment processing fee per transaction.

Late Fees:

An automatic charge of $20 will be added for LATE payments made after the scheduled installment date.

Auto cancellation

Balances not paid in full by the due date is subject to cancellation

Refund Policy:

All money paid is non-refundable but transferable until June 1st, 2024. After that date you forfeit your spot. You are required to get trip insurance for cancellation purposes

LAGOS/NIGERIA EKO’24 TERMS AND CONDITION:

By booking your trip with YETAKIN you are agreeing to our Media Waiver, release of liability, Release and travel policies. These policies are non-negotiable. A copy of the policy is sent post booking. If you would like a copy of the policy prior to booking, email info@Yetakin.com
