Welcome to the Official Lagos/Nigeria EKO’24 Travel Vacation. All attendees will experience a 9day /8 nights in the Southwestern region of Nigeria, the people, food and culture. A trip to  “ROOT” is a must where you will learn how slaves were taken and transported over seas; learn and gain from the history of the Yorubas by the Ooni of Ife. This trip is not only for fun; it is also a life changing experience. Participants will have a chance to learn and participate in some of the culture, traditions, food, and the importance of showing respect to the elderly as well as see first hand the beauty of color in regards to our clothes, arts and crafts. The knowledge gain will be a valuable experience.

The Details

Accommodation will be a four (4) Star hotel and will allow for easy transportation. Please NOTE  accommodation is double occupancy. Single occupancy can be accommodated for a FEE . The room will consist of two separate beds or a single king size bed depending on availability.

There is a complimentary breakfast and WIFI  at the hotel.  In some cases light lunch and non alcoholic beverages or water may be provided while en route  however, dinner will be at participant’s expenses.

Cancellation within 45days of  bookings will incur a cost of $50 service charge Cancellation after 60 days will incur a cost of $100 service charge Cancellation 3months to departure will incur 50% of total deposit.

There will be free transportation to all tourist site with a tour guide and security escorts. However transportation to personal places will be provided for a fee.  

PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE HOTEL OR GROUP WITHOUT NOTIFYING YETAKIN TEAM MEMBERS.

Departure from your base to Atlanta Thursday August 28th, 2024

At Last ! Today is departure day from your location. Make sure you have your passport, money, and the credit card you booked your flight with along with your printed Nigeria Travel authorization with QCR code

Arrive at the airport at least TWO HOURS prior ( No exception )

Other things to remember before departure

  • Be prepared to show your credit card used to book your flight at the airport ( MONDAY for Thursday departures )
  • Make sure you have your passport with visa inside for Nigeria or if doing visa upon arrival you have your visa on arrival authorization documents printed and in hand
  • Do not pack cash in your checked luggage
  • Make sure you have all medications needed for the trip
  • Carry all valuables with you in your carry-on luggage.
  • Carry some clothes/underwear in your carry-on luggage in case your luggage is did not arrive with you or is missing.
  • Show up to the airport at least two hours before departure
  • Bring Face mask and hand sanitizer!
