EKO’ 24 Trip Travel Policy

Introduction

Yetakin Travel Tours EKO 2024 is engaged around the world through aviation, career education and outreach. This International Travel Policy is intended to promote the health, safety, and security of all attendees of EKO’24 August 28th to September 6th 2024 while traveling abroad to Lagos Nigeria. (YetAkin travels is a newly tour business organization intending to explore the world via aviation transportation means to educate, entertain and promote social awareness of the People, Culture, Food and Languages of Africa with a focus on Nigeria).

Company’s Policy

This International Travel Policy applies to all attendees traveling to Nigeria with Yetakin Travels. It outlines four important requirement regarding

  1. Travel abroad health insurance
  2. Emergency evacuation insurance
  3. Travel Warnings (iv) Safety While Abroad

 

All attendees to Nigeria with Yetakin Travels should endeavor

  • To register their international travels with the Department of State The Smart Traveler Enrollment Program. (STEP). This is a free service that allows all U.S. citizens and nationals traveling abroad to enroll their trip with the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate.
  • Receive important information from the Embassy about safety conditions in your destination country, helping you make informed decisions about your travel plans.
  • Help the U.S. Embassy contact you in an emergency, whether natural disaster, civil unrest, or family emergency.
  • Help family members and friends get in touch with you in an emergency.

Travel Abroad Health Insurance

  • Attendees, are NOT covered under any health, life, liability insurance policy by Travel Tours LLC or the Yetakin Travel
  • Individuals traveling to Nigeria are required to have travel health insurance coverage from an insurance carrier of their choice. Proof of such insurance should be furnished prior to departure

Emergency Evacuation Insurance

  • Attendees are urge to purchase travel insurance that covers emergency evacuation insurance, as Yetakin will not provide such insurance in case of mishap.
  • Life Insurance/ Dismemberment Insurance YETAKIN will NOT provide such insurance in case of mishap and is released of all liability

Travel Warnings / Travel Restrictions

YETAKIN shall warn all travelers of security risks and or determined to be of sufficient significance that may require unusual caution. A security briefing will be given prior to travel and everyone will be given a copy of the current Department of State Security Status if there is need.

Safety and Security Precautions

Attendees are advised when in a motor vehicle: to uses their seatbelts at all time
Attendees SHALL not share their travel itinerary to strangers
Attendees SHALL not give any information of this trip EKO‘24 or the group with any person in Nigeria prior to departure.
Attendees SHALL not share their contact information or phone numbers with strangers while on the trip
Attendees SHALL not invite anyone to their hotel or advise anyone unknown of their abode. (i.e hotel)
Attendees SHALL not take any gifts from strangers

EMERGENCY

Attendees must provide:

  • Copy of identification (photo) page of participant’s passport
  • Emergency Contact Medical Form
  • Risk and Release of Liability Form
  • Arrival and Departure Information
